
Australia had a slight problem with mass shootings before they implemented the National Firearms Agreement also known as the NFA. After implementing this agreement in Australia there were ZERO mass shootings.
New Medicinal Practices for Gunshot Wounds
- The improvement of medicine over the past decade has decreased the number of fatalities.
- Antibiotics have been improved.
- Surgeon techniques have been improved.
- There have been new techniques that EMT have to help keep victims alive while being transported to the hospital.
- Ways to stop internal bleeding have been improved to help increase chances of survival for victims.

Australia cut down on gun violence by putting in place more strict gun control laws. Personally being from a different developed country than Australia, hearing about this and how successful it is makes me think there may be a solution to gun violence. Australia was able to cut down it’s gun violence by a significant amount just within one year, I believe the United States should look into this. Facing drastic problems with misuse of guns, the United States could learn some possible solutions from Australia.
